The Emerald Foundation integrates sustainability into culture by engaging in revolutionary projects that artistically nurture a loving, respectful relationship among the collective ecosystems that ties our planet together. We acknowledge people, plants, animals, and all creatures as part of the one organism that is Earth, and believe that ALL THRIVING IS MUTUAL.
The holistic gem has served our community for over 50 years. The Sanctuary was the home to thousands of wild, exotic, and domestic animals, as well as a way station for transitioning animals from rehabilitation to release, or other permanent homes.
This community space, sustainably built from straw bales, reused, and recycled materials is intended to model a way of life that exists symbiotically with the natural world, including integration of indigenous wisdom and innovation. Our vision has endless possibilities, which involves hosting holistic workshops, exhibits, events and artists that foster a culture of love and respect for each other and our plant.
Our team has a plan. To line the cities of Orange Countys wilderness boarders with a proven fireproof method that involves a specific blend of low maintenance fire resistant natives and succulents to bring protection and beauty to OC.
